Jobs’ commencement speech was for the Class of ’05 of Standford University, not Yale University

Your story is inspiring and I am touched by your passion for the law. I was a lawyer for a few years, but I had taken time out to pursue my dream for a postgraduate degree and I intend to migrate out of my home country. I cannot foreshadow the future, but I am operating on the basis of faith. I am putting my faith in life, in God, in The Powers That Be, that life will be okay and my transition will be a smooth one.

I am sure that you will have no problem with your studies in law school. I hope you will draw strength from your life’s lessons and carry them with you into your legal practice in the future. From my experience, legal practice, at times, can be a case of riding out the storm.

To quote Steve Jobs’ 2005 Commencement Speech at Yale University: “Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish”. Like Jobs wishing this upon the graduating Class of ’05, I wish the same for you.

All the best, Adam!

What an amazing story, I take my hat off to you sir, as you say, some find it much easier to sit in the dark and live in a continuous loop of self pity, blaming others, yet hoping that others will just make it all right again.

But you certainly dug deep, and when you are at the bottom, it can be hard to dig even deeper in order to find that golden nugget of inspiration that begins to part the clouds and gives you that ray of sunshine to give you the energy to begin your path to not only get out of the dark, but continue further to the heights of your dreams!

And you did just that, (with a little help from a man with some special pencils!)

Amen to you Adam, I wish you all the success that is due to you and the happiness that is on it’s way to you.

Thank you so much for sharing.

Well it sounds like there is only one option in this when ‘dream’ is in the sentence! However thats not to say that if you need to, you can take a detour in the path and if you need to make some money in order to facilitate the dream, then thats what you have to do.

So its not necessarily one or the other, you can cook this up however you want! 🙂

Great luck and perseverance to you.
